Our Story
CUT DESIGN was founded in 2016, drawing its primary inspiration from a deep sense of wandering. The experience of travel, combined with many years of engagement in photography and graphic design, became the raw materials for shaping our aesthetic identity.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
Over the past 30 years, we have traveled countless kilometers across the planet – often far from typical tourist routes – building a rich and ever-expanding photographic archive. This archive forms the foundation and inspiration for the designs printed on CUT DESIGN apparel.
We place special emphasis on the materials and fabrics chosen for our collections. Beyond the visual appeal of each design, we believe it is essential to consider the quality and durability of the garments we wear. After extensive research and multiple trials, we selected Earth Positive as our production partner, and their garments now form the foundation of our collections.
Earth Positive produces cotton clothing with no harmful impact on the earth’s soil, water, ecosystems, or climate—respecting animals, plants, and people alike. They have succeeded in reducing the carbon footprint of their cotton garments by 90%, while maintaining ethical and sustainable production practices throughout the entire process.
Beginning with the sourcing of raw materials, Earth Positive ensures full traceability of all fibers, using 100% certified organic cotton across their product range. The garments are made from hand-picked organic cotton, grown without harmful chemicals, protecting both the soil and the health of the farmers.
Our work speaks to people who think beyond the ordinary—those who love to travel not merely to consume destinations, but to experience them fully, while respecting the planet and the cultures they encounter along the way.
